Do you know how powerful Holy Spirit is in your life?
You need to know this – there is no Christianity without the
Holy Spirit. Christianity without the Holy Spirit is a joke! Unless you have
received the Holy Spirit, you won’t know anything about the ‘Glory life.’ If
you don’t have the Holy Spirit, what you have is mere religion .
Being filled with the Holy Spirit and having the
consciousness of his glorious presence with you is the secret of Christianity,
because Christians derived from Christ who ascended to the Father and left us
with Holy Spirit. Jesus called the Holy Spirit “another- “allos,” meaning another one of the” same kind and quality as Him”. While
“parakletos” translated ‘comforter’,
really means one that is sent alongside to go with you and help you.
The
Bible clearly shows who the Holy Spirit is to you; He is your helper, advocate,
strengthener, intercessor, counselor, standby and guide! The
Holy Spirit is also called “the Comforter.”This means that the Holy Spirit
helps the righteous in difficulties, and brings victory to them, fighting off their
enemies.
There is absolutely nothing any Child of God can do
effectively without the help of the Holy Spirit. This is the reason you must open
your heart to Him in fellowship every day! Be conscious of both His indwelling
and abiding presence, for He is all you need to live the supernatural life.
Jesus said “and I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another comforter that He may abide
with you forever” (John14:16). The Greek
word used for another comforter is “allos parakletos”
About Holy Spirit
The
Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God. They are three Persons, but
they are the same God to those who believe in Jesus. Holy Spirit is Almighty
God. He possesses the essential characteristics of personality, namely, intellect,
emotion, and will. Because the Holy Spirit possesses intellect, He even searches the deep
things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10) and the hearts of men. Because the Holy
Spirit possesses emotion, He is pleased
with those who believe in God’s word, but sighs deeply against unbelievers.
Also, the righteous can feel God’s love through the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit
is perfect Spirit and is God himself, you cannot separate the two for is one
God, Christ Jesus and Holy Spirit except in their function segmentation. Holy
Spirit crated all things and gives them the breath of life into their nostrils.
The Father had a
plan to save us from our sins and so Jesus the Son came into this world, was
baptized by John in order to take away the sins of the world, died on the
Cross, rose again from the dead on the third day and was taken up to heaven.
The Holy Spirit leads us to believe in this beautiful gospel by testifying to
Jesus’ baptism and His blood on the Cross.
God seals those who have been saved through
the Holy Spirit. The Lord grants the Holy Spirit to those who believe in the
gospel that Jesus took away the sins of the world. God gives them the Holy
Spirit as a pledge to seal them as His children. The Holy Spirit is the final
evidence of salvation from sin to those who believe in the Christ. Those who
have the Holy Spirit are children of the Lord. Those who have the indwelling of
the Holy Spirit always feel refreshed.
They have a firm belief in the words of
God, in Jesus’ baptism and the blood on the Cross. They are truly happy. Those
who repent in the proper way have no sin in their hearts and have the
indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says that there is repentance which brings
the forgiveness of sins. Have you gone through such repentance? If you repent
and adopt the true beliefs, you too can receive Christ. I advise you to repent
for your sins and receive the Holy Spirit. Are you ready to repent and believe
in the beautiful gospel that leads to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit?
The fail-safe way for
us to receive the Holy Spirit is to believe in the Christ Jesus’ baptism and
blood. Jesus’ baptism cleansed all the sins of mankind at
once. It was the baptism of redemption that leads us to receive the Holy
Spirit. Since some people don’t realize the power of Jesus’ baptism, they
understand it as mere ceremony. Anyone who believes in the words of Christ
becomes a member of the church, which is a possession of the Lord, and enjoys
the blessings of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit
is a gift from God to those who have been forgiven for their sins.
With His
baptism, Jesus became “the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world”
well enough (John 1:29). In John 1:6-7 it says, “There was a man sent
from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of
the Light that all through him might believe.” In order to believe in Jesus
as our Savior, who took away all our sins, we must understand John’s ministry
and testimony as it is written in the Bible. Then we will be able to believe in
Jesus Christ as our Savior. In order to receive the Holy Spirit, we also need
our strong faith heartened by his testimony.
